Ruby Leigh performs in semi-finals Monday on 'The Voice'

This week, Ruby Leigh will perform two songs: one audience's choice and one Taylor Swift track.

FOLEY, Mo. — Sixteen-year-old Ruby Leigh is one of nine artists competing Monday night in "The Voice" live semi-finals.

The Foley, Missouri, native is the youngest singer in the competition. Last week, she performed the country ballad "You Lie," originally sung by her coach, Reba McEntire. It was the public's vote that guaranteed her a spot in the second live show.

"It was really exciting when they said my name," Ruby said. "I was just like, 'Oh my gosh.' I couldn't believe it for a second."

This week, she and her competitors will each perform a solo suggested by the audience and a song from Taylor Swift's repertoire.
