Ruby Leigh moving on to 'The Voice' Live Shows

"There's nobody like Ruby in the competition," Coach Reba McEntire said.

FOLEY, Mo. — Foley, Missouri, native Ruby Leigh will move on to the Live Shows of NBC's "The Voice."

The 16-year-old moved the judges during Monday night's Playoff Rounds with an emotional performance of "Long, Long Time" by Linda Ronstadt. 

Coach Niall Horan said it was the best version of the song he'd ever heard, even joking, "If you don't go to the lives, Reba's getting fired."

Her coach, Reba McEntire, won't have to worry about job security, though. She picked Leigh as one of three artists to remain on her team for the Live Shows.

"There's nobody like Ruby in the competition," McEntire said. 

During the Live Shows, fans can vote to save their favorite artist from elimination.

"The Voice" airs Mondays at 7 p.m. on 5 On Your Side and streams the next day on Peacock.
