Pharrell Williams among NBC's 'NFL Kickoff' performers

Before the NFL season gets underway Thursday night, some musical talent will get fans hyped for the big game.

KSDK – Before the NFL season gets underway Thursday night, some musical talent will get fans hyped for the big game.

The "NFL Kickoff 2014" will showcase Grammy Award-winning singer, producer and new The Voice judge Pharrell Williams as part of the pre-game concert.

Seattle natives and Grammy Award-winning band Soundgarden will also perform on a special stage outside of CenturyLink Field.

The Green Bay Packers will take on the Super Bowl champs Seattle Seahawks in the first game of the season. Popular singer Ariana Grande will sing the national anthem prior to the game.

The kick-off pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on NewsChannel 5. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
