O'FALLON, Mo. — Rock and roll legends Styx and country music star Dylan Scott will headline this year's O'Fallon Heritage and Freedom Fest.
The announcement was made at Wednesday's city council meeting. The annual festival will also feature food, vendors, carnival rides and fireworks.
The festival runs July 2-4 at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex on 900 T. R. Hughes Blvd. Scott will play on July 3 and Styx will play on July 4. Concerts are free to everyone who attends.
There will also be a parade at 9:30 a.m., July 4 starting at Main and 3rd streets.
“I am extremely excited to announce this year’s entertainment as it again features true rock legends and an upcoming country star with multiple top five hits,” Mayor Bill Hennessy said in a press release.
"The O’Fallon City Council and I are proud to welcome Styx and Dylan Scott to the Main Stage for our community to see and hear live at our City’s biggest party of the year, the Heritage and Freedom Fest. As always, the concerts are free, the bands are outstanding, and we’ll end each show with spectacular fireworks displays.”
