1. Don't expect an onslaught of goodie-two-shoes Full House humor.
Of course, to set the story line, the pilot episode is going to be one huge homage to the original series, chock-full of "Cut it out"s and "Have mercy"s, but beyond that, Andrea says the comedy is pretty fresh and will resonate with both kids and adults. "The humor is a bit more contemporary to fit today's world," she said. "As the series goes on we make it our own show. It's not really the same as the slapstick comedy of the original."

But not to worry—Andrea reassured us that, yes, you'll still hear your favorite throwback catchphrases from time to time.

2...Or those orchestra-music-hugging moments in the last few minutes of the show."
Don't get me wrong, there are still lots of hugs, family love, and warmth to the show, but we know that wrapping everything up in a pretty bow at the end of every episode just wouldn't work in today's world," says Jodie. "I think with the savviness and worldliness of today's kids, you just can't get away with those pure saccharine moments anymore."

3. Some personalities have changed a lot.
And, in the best ways, have remained the same. "Stephanie has been traveling the world as a D.J. and comes back to help her sister out, so being an adult and being more mature and responsible is new for Stephanie. She's become more worldly through her career," Jodie explains. Kimmy, too, has apparently evolved a lot as a person, having gone through a divorce and raising a teenage daughter while pursuing her party-planning career. Of course, she still is true to her quirky self, though. "Kimmy's still wacky, excited, and very eccentric. Her wardrobe is still stuck in the 90s, but is getting more and more fabulous," Andrea says.

4. Some of the original Full House set is used in the show.
Though much of it had to be remade, the iconic couch and two living room chairs are the originals used 29 years ago, says Jodie. Oh, and you can probably expect a certain stuffed animal to make a cameo. "Mr. Bear lives at my house. Should all things line up correctly and we do a second season, I think I'll bring Mr. Bear back." Yes, please! And the pencil bed posts too, if you still got 'em, Steph.

5. Kimmy had asthma attacks while filming.
That 29-year-old original couch? While it's definitely nostalgic-inducing, Andrea learned the hard way that the accumulation of dust has made it extremely cough-inducing, as well. "I was allergic to it when we first started filming, every time we had a living room scene, I'd have an asthma attack until finally Jodie figured it out that it was the couch." Yikes, I guess Danny Tanner didn't keep up with his stringent cleaning schedule, after all.

'Fuller House' reunites Jodie Sweetin, left, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber.

6. Jodie, Candace, and Andrea had quite a bit of influence on the Fuller House script.
"With us all being moms, we really had a lot of input with what is going on with the story lines about having to balance work with kids," says Jodie. In other words, you'll totally relate to their struggles.

7. As a result, the show tackles some serious parenting issues.
Coping with the muddy waters of divorce, helping your kid fit in, navigating the working world as a mom, and getting back into the dating scene after your spouse passes away, are all major themes tackled by D.J., Kimmy, and Stephanie in the first season. "I think the female point of view in this show is really different and progressive," says Jodie. "It's still about family, but Fuller House really taps into the lives of these three women in a way that is real."

8. Sadly, Uncle Jesse won't be there everywhere you look.
If you're hoping Fuller House will satisfy your John Stamos fix, you might be a wee bit disappointed. Of course, we're sure the show will still be amazing, but Jodie says beyond the first episode, Danny, Joey, and Jesse are only peppered in one or two times throughout the rest of the season. "I think Bob [Saget] came back for one more episode and John [Stamos] came back for two, but not all at the same time," says Jodie.Well, it looks like we'll have to just stick to re-watching those Greek Yogurt commercials on Youtube for now.

9. And last but certainly not least: Yes, Steve and D.J. is a total (ehem, probable) possibility.
Steve is recently divorced and Deej is a single mom...do the math. We're not the only ones banking on this to happen. "Steve does pop back in," Andrea spills. "Everybody loves D.J. and Steve and is shipping that relationship, so we will see." Here's to hoping! <3
