A Place to Call Home: Meet JJ

In this weeks A Place to Call Home, we meet JJ, a 14-year-old pickleball guru.

ST. LOUIS — If you're looking for a great pickleball court, head to Forest Park. Anthony Slaughter tests out the courts with one very skilled 14-year-old in today's A Place to Call Home.

14-year-old JJ is just about the sweetest, kindest kid you will meet. He has a huge compassionate heart for others and it always willing to lend a hand. Recently, he chose a classmate to play pickleball with him even though she had never played. This dynamic duo made it to the championship!

JJ would love an active family who just love to spend time together. He is definitely ready to be part of a forever family!

JJ also has a little wish. He would love to spend the day at Dave & Buster’s. If you would like to learn more about becoming part of his life or granting his little wish, please call the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition at 1-800-FOSTER3.

A special thank you to John Callahan and Dwight Davis Tennis Center’s Pickleball courts in Forest Park for giving Anthony and JJ a few pointers!
