ST. LOUIS — Over 40 Years of Marriage, isn’t your typical love story—it’s a raw, faith-driven account of endurance, personal growth, and the power of truth.
Author Andrea Ramsey recently talked with Mary Caltrider on Show Me St. Louis about her new book, Over 40 Years of Marriage: Overcoming Adultery, Infidelity, and Children from an Extramarital Affair. In the interview, Andrea shared how her book tells the story of her life and her marriage, and how she found healing and forgiveness through it all.
Mary started by saying the book takes readers on a journey through hard times and lessons learned. Andrea explained that at first, she didn’t want to write the book because of guilt and shame about her past. “It’s hard to share your story when you think about what people might say,” Andrea said. But she realized there was value in telling her truth. “When you share your truth, it brings freedom, and I want others to feel that freedom too,” she added.
Andrea hopes her story will help others who are going through tough times in their own marriages. “I want someone to read my book and think, ‘If she can do it, I can too,’” she said.
Mary pointed out that many people make their marriages look perfect online, but Andrea’s book shows the real challenges. Andrea agreed and said it’s important to be honest and real.
Andrea also shared details about her upcoming book signing event on Saturday, October 26, at Jones Plaza in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Over 40 Years of Marriage is available now online, and Barnes and Noble.
