ST. LOUIS — It's a famous children's game that combines strategy with fun. Many at home spent their childhood playing rock, paper, scissors with their friends and family, but now the childhood game is taking on a much bigger stage all for a good cause.
Introducing Battle at the Ballpark. It's an event hosted by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. Big Brothers Big Sisters has impacted the lives of youth in the St. Louis area since 1914 through their mentorship programs. Having a big brother or big sister as your mentor has long-term benefits which include, a higher rate of academic achievement, increased social skills, and future career prospects.
Now the organization needs your help to continue helping our youth. They are hosting their annual fundraiser called Battle at the Ballpark. Attendees will have the opportunity to play rock, paper, scissors, inside a boxing ring at Busch Stadium. You can sign up as an individual or as a team.
There will also be other fun activities such as special experiences with Cardinals alumni players and more. The goal this year is to raise $750,000. With your help, they can do it.
Battle at the Ballpark takes place Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Busch Stadium from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person, including all-you-can-eat and drink with premium upgrades available.
