Breakfast at Clementine's: Ice cream shop to host annual Ice Cream for Breakfast Day celebration

Break out your PJs and pearls and head to Clementine's for breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 3.

ST. LOUIS — While it may not be an official holiday, many will celebrate Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on Saturday. The story goes that in the 1960s, a mother was trying to help her kiddos beat the winter blues by letting them have ice cream for breakfast, and well, it stuck! We are still celebrating 60 years later on the first Saturday of February.

On Saturday, February 3, Clementine's Naughty and Nice Creamery will be hosting its annual Ice Cream for Breakfast Day celebration! This year's theme is Breakfast at Clementine's, inspired by the 1961 film, Breakfast at Tiffany's.

All stores will open at 9 AM on Saturday.

Attendees can expect:

  •  One-day only ice cream flavors
  •  Limited edition mugs (free for the first 25 households in line)
  •  Free poster to the first person in line at each location
  •  Dr. Dancakes stationed at Edwardsville, Central West End and Southampton
  •  Brand new Ice Cream for Breakfast Day t-shirts for sale
  •  Prize giveaways from Tiffany & Co.!

Ice Cream for Breakfast Day Exclusive Flavors:

  • Vietnamese Coffee: A robust blend of dark, aromatic coffee swirled with sweetened condensed milk. Creamy and indulgent, it's a frozen treat that captivates the senses.
  • Grapefruit Sorbet: The refreshing tang of grapefruit juice and a splash of orange juice. A beautiful balance of tart and sweet citrus will leave your taste buds longing for more.
  • Toasted Nutella Crunch: Crunchy cracker bits and crushed hazelnuts folded into our rich Nutella ice cream. A sweet, salty and chocolatey breakfast mashup.\

So, dress to the nines with silk pajamas, layers of pearls, and outfits inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s or simply roll out of bed and show up! Those with the morning’s top outfits will have a chance at winning prizes between 9:00am - 12:00pm!
