ST. LOUIS — If you're a fan of Thai food look no further than the annual Thai New Year ‘Songkran’ Festival!
The Thai Association of Greater St. Louis is a Thai community organization that is celebrating the Thai New Year 'Songkran' Festival.
This Sunday, at the Wat Phrasriratanaram, Buddhist Temple & Meditation Center, local Thai restaurants will cook and serve authentic Thai dishes at the event. There will also be classical Thai dance and music, a ‘Miss Songkran’ Beauty Pageant, and delicately carved fruits and vegetables.
Friday morning, Kongsak Tanphaichitr, M.D the President of the Thai Association of Greater St. Louis and ‘Jack’ Anajak Suebsawangkul the chef from Thai 202 Restaurant joined the Mary's in the Show Me kitchen to fill us in on this weekend's celebration!
The festival is from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm this Sunday at 890 Lindsay Lane in Florissant.
