It’s time to talk travel. Vrbo’s Melanie Fish is here to share the top up-and-coming destinations you should consider for a family getaway.
Melanie starts by saying that we all love Florida beaches and ski trips to Colorado, but Vrbo’s 2020 trend report points out some places that maybe aren’t on your list that should be!
First, take a look at Bella Vista, Arkansas. It has shown a big jump in the number of families renting vacation homes. There are a lot of outdoor adventures to be had there, golfing, lakeside homes, and more. Bentonville, Arkansas right down the road is also home to the world class art museum Crystal Bridges.
Second, you could visit the heart of the North Georgia mountains, Cherry Log Georgia. One of the biggest attractions in the area is Fall Branch Falls, a great hike for families.
Finally, for a family rental vacation home consider Edisto Island, South Carolina. It is between Hilton Head and Kiawah, and no hotels are allowed.
