ST. LOUIS — You can explore the history and culture of the beautiful Blue Danube River from a privately chartered cruise ship this September. Lynette Hale, Holiday Vacations Tour Director, and Karen Foss, retired 5 On Your Side Evening Anchor, are here to tell us more.
Karen begins by saying that she hopes St. Louisans will come out for some meetings they have this afternoon discussing the Blue Danube Cruise. She says she feels river cruising is about the nicest way to travel. You pack your suitcase once, and you are set for 7 nights.
There will be meetings today, February 25, at 2PM and 7PM at the Homewood Suites on Clayton Road. People can come and learn about this trip, and it is $200 to hold your place.
The cruise will go along a beautiful area of Europe on the Danube River. The trip will be on a brand-new boat with stops in 5 different countries. Airfare and excursions are included in the total, and someone from Holiday Vacations will be on the trip as well.
The Blue Danube River Cruise will be from September 28 – October 9, 2020.
Karen admits she was hesitant about traveling with a group at first, but she says that it turned out to be fabulous! Once you check your bag at the airport, Holiday Vacations takes care of everything else. It is a very efficient way to travel.
