She's been off the air for eight weeks, but is busier than ever.
"People ask what is life like with two kids and I don't sugarcoat it, I'm like it is crazy, it is so crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything I mean look at Deacon he's so cute," Dana Dean says.
And as babies go he's pretty easy.
"It's easier the second time around because you're more confident as a parent, you know what to expect after birth, when you come home from the hospital how crazy it is. I did kind of forget how exhausting a new born was."
She, however, quickly got back into the swing or sway of things.
"This is most of my day, I'm not usually showered or have makeup on, but I did it for you. I did draw the line at putting on real shoes so I am wearing slippers," she points out.
She's no Real Housewife.
"No! I've hidden the piles of laundry in strategic places around this house and you can not see it on camera."
Dana Dean is simply the real deal.
"Do you think he looks more like you or Ryan?" I ask.
"I don't know, I think he has Ryan's eyes."
He is a beautiful boy with a helpful big brother who even decided what he'd be for Halloween.
"So Jack is going to be Mickey Mouse for the second year in a row and he wants deacon to be Donald because Donald wears a diaper so it just makes sense," she explains.
Ryan is of course a great dad and well...
"You're a natural," She says.
"A natural aunt."
So we have a few more weeks without our taste testing, fun-loving reporter, but she's in a role that fits her rather well.
"So since you're here do you want to do the dishes too?"
