Dance for Dravet returns to the Third Degree Glass Factory

The event and mission have deep roots in St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS — The 6th annual Dance for Dravet returns to the Third Degree Glass Factory on October, 25th.

Started in 2019 by the Brennan and Odlaug families, the event was designed to raise awareness of Dravet Syndrome and raise funds for the Dravet Syndrome Foundation (DSF), in honor of family member Anna Odlaug who is 7 years old.

Dravet syndrome, also known as Severe Myoclonic Epilepsy of Infancy (SMEI), is a rare form of intractable epilepsy that begins in infancy and proceeds with accumulating morbidity that significantly impacts individuals throughout their lifetime.

In the first five years of hosting Dance for Dravet, they have raised over 2 million dollars to support the foundation.
