As of 2024 the Illinois city has roughly 26,000 people living throughout, but did you know, that Edwardsville is the 3rd oldest city in the state?

That's right, first established in 1805. Its rich history dates back to the early 19th century and played a huge role in the development of the region.

And the name Edwardsville came after Ninian Edwards who was appointed territorial governor in 1809.


Now over 200 years later Edwardsville is known for a lot of things from notable people like athletes. To even filmmakers like AJ Schnack.

But what makes the city thrive is the amazing things to do in and around the community.
