ST. LOUIS — It is starting to feel like fall! It is the perfect time to get active outside and Explore STL Parks makes it easy.
You might know Steph Hampton as the momma behind Explore STL Parks.
Steph (@explorestlparks) and Eliza (@eliza.donelson) started a free caregiver and kid nature meetup (formerly known as "Nature Play STL") in March 2022. They wanted to form a free group for families to encourage exploring outside as a family.
Participants gather at parks across the area on Wednesdays at 9:30 am. The meetups include unstructured nature play, a short hike (paved or unpaved), sometimes a read-aloud or activity, and playing in all the dirt!
I met Steph and her crew at the Gateway Arch National Park, this Wellness Wednesday to join in on the fun!
