ST. LOUIS — Soulard Mardi Gras is in full swing. Over the next two weeks, events and parties are happening across St. Louis.
To help celebrate, Mary Caltrdier and Malik Wilson had some very special guests in the Show Me Kitchen on Tuesday morning. They chatted with Amber Gergen from Local Bestie and owner of The Franklin of Soulard, Danny Walsh.
The team all dressed up in the Mardi Gras outfits to help kick off the celebration and then we heard from our viewers. Our viewers shared with us some of their favorite Mardi Gras moments, from food to even a love story.
Walsh and Gergen helped promote their next event called Mardi Gras Nights. It is a festive event with New Orleans-inspired food, cocktails, photo opportunities, and live music from the Red Jackets band. It kicks off this weekend on February 2nd and 3rd at The Franklin of Soulard from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
You can purchase tickets on Eventbrite. There are two options including a standard ticket for $50 and an all-inclusive ticket for $80.
And we couldn't end the segment without trying some king cake. Malik got lucky and found the baby which means the Show Me team is hosting the Mardi Gras festivities next year.
