KomBlu: Organic Kombucha handcrafted in St. Louis

Kombucha is a fermented tea and a non-alcoholic, probiotic beverage.

ST. LOUIS — When you think of a brewery, you may automatically think of beer. This brewery has a different style. KomBlu is a kombucha brewery located in Fenton.

Kombucha is a fermented tea. It’s a non-alcoholic, probiotic beverage, and it follows the same principles of brewing beer, according to the brewmaster at KomBlu.

KomBlu is not open to the public, but its kombucha drinks can be found in one-hundred restaurants, bars, and grocery stores in Missouri and Illinois.

“Kombucha is phenomenal for your gut. It’s a live food, so it has live probiotics, digestive enzymes, acidic acids, different things that help to maintain gut health,” says KomBlu owner, Andria Garcia.

Andria refers to her business as “The KomBlu Difference – something you have to taste for yourself.” There are nine flavors to choose from. For more information, click here
