ST. LOUIS — It's time to grab your popcorn and settle in for the 32nd Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF) presented by Cinema St. Louis.
The festival runs from November 9th to 19th.
The main venue is the historic Hi-Pointe Theatre, the new home of Cinema St. Louis. Other venues include Alamo Drafthouse, Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis Public Library, central branch, Washington University Brown Hall, Webster University Moore Auditorium and more!
The festival is celebrating 50 Years of Hip-Hop in St. Louis, through both film and music while paying tribute to the Hi-Pointe neighborhood with a nod to the past. Monday's at the Hi-Pointe Cafe played a pivotal role in shaping hip-hop's history in our city and genre as a whole.
The Race in America Spotlight is a series of 16 short films that draw attention to building community, fostering dialogue, and creating a platform for real societal change. Many of these films are free to catch at the festival!
