ST. LOUIS — Local cocktail creator and bar owner, Meredith Barry, is now a quarter-finalist in the National Bar Boss Competition and needs your vote to advance to the semi-finals. Co-owner of award-winning hotspot Platypus in The Grove neighborhood, Meredith will use the $10,000 award to advance the culinary arts in the St. Louis region and support other creatives. Her/their vision includes a space for Saint Louis bartenders to create that would have a commissary kitchen to research and develop drinks for competitions and menus. The mission of the space would be to grow the industry and creative culinary craft together in St. Louis!
Winning the competition will also give Meredith a feature on the cover of Bartender Magazine. Recognized as a mixologist on the Netflix show Drink Masters, this is another opportunity for our local St. Louis talent to shine on the national stage!
