These services are designed to save you time and money and have been available in Schnucks stores for a while, but now Schnucks wants to make sure that everyone knows about them.
Dietitian Kara Behlke from Schnucks is here to show us how to be supermarket savvy. Not everyone loves grocery shopping and taking the time to create new recipes and dishes, and Kara has some tricks to make it easier.
First in the produce department, Schnucks has literal “Short Cuts,” freshly cut produce that is cut daily in store. In the bakery, you can find free fruit for kids along with the free cookies. In terms of seafood, Schnucks will cook, season, and prepare your seafood for you, at no extra cost!
On Wines-days or Wednesdays, if you get six bottles of wine you can get 15% off. Even if it’s not Wednesday, you can get 10% off if you mix and match 6 bottles of wine. Schnucks also has bags to steam full of produce and meat to pop in the microwave or oven, pre-seasoned, so you don’t even have to dirty any dishes.
