ST. LOUIS — Class is back in session at Visitation Academy!
Tuesday morning, Mary Thaier stopped by Mrs. Laura Gurley's 3rd-grade classroom.
Laura has been teaching third grade at Visitation Academy since 2015. She enjoys making learning meaningful and fun for students; her classroom environment is thoughtfully designed to support this.
Not only does Laura teach 3rd grade at Visitation, but she is also the owner of The Teachers' Lounge. The Teachers’ Lounge prides itself on being the #1 supplier of educational materials and supplies for all of St. Louis’ teachers, schools, and parents. They sell teachers the décor and supplemental materials they need to teach; schools, the furniture and equipment those teachers need; and parents, the toys and games that are both fun and educational!
Visitation Academy has an all-girl Lower School program for Grades 1-5 and a coed Montessori program for Toddlers through Kindergarten in addition to the all-girl Upper School for Grades 9-12 and an all-girl Middle School for Grades 6-8.
Lower School Open House Dates for 2024-2025:
- October 17 - 8:30-10:30 a.m.
- December 5 - 8:30-10:30 a.m.
- January 14 - 8:30-10:30 a.m.
