Shaping Young Lives through Music: We welcome the St. Louis Children's Choir to SMSL!

The choir performed live Wednesday morning on Television Plaza.

ST. LOUIS — For 46 years, the St. Louis Children's Choir has been shaping the lives of children through song!  Their mission is to create a world united with children who love music and each other. 

Wednesday morning, our host, Mary Caltrider spoke with the director of the choir Dr. John McDonald, and one of the choir members ahead of their live performance of Obwisana on Television Plaza! Watch the video above for the full performance.

In the meantime, the choir is busy preparing for the holidays. Their first concert of the season "Gather" was held this past Saturday, and was a great success. Their Holiday Concert "Joyful Hearts": will be on Saturday, December 9 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the J. Scheidegger Center at Lindenwood University.
