ST. LOUIS — Every year the Show Me St. Louis team has carried out the tradition of reenacting a popular trend, show, movie, etc, and piece together a 30-minute long LIVE show with a live audience on or before Halloween. This year the Show ME Team is geared up and ready to reveal who they'll be reenacting this year.
Thursday morning, Mary Caltrider and I sat down with Dusty, to chat all things Halloween. October is full of fun activities to do around the St. Louis area to tap into your spooky side. Starting Friday, children are invited to the Magic House in Kirkwood to dress in their most "boo-tiful" costumes and have a ghoulishly good time trick-or-treating and getting autographs from their favorite storybook characters at Not-So-Haunted House! Each child attending the event will receive a trick-or-treat bag and an autograph book as they enter the museum.
Then taking things back in time... Legends and Lanterns in Saint Charles will offer the vintage charm of Halloween in the 1910s-1930s, the historical rituals and customs brought to the holiday by the Druids and Victorians, to the ethereal atmosphere depicted in American ghost stories and fairytales... this event will begin this Saturday from 11 am-6 pm. Then taking things back in time... All three of us were shocked when we found out that the top Halloween candy in Missouri was Almond Joys. We quickly shared our favorites and distastes with others.
