MARINE, Ill. — On Friday night, Madison County turned out for the Fireman’s Parade in Marine, Illinois!
The annual event draws spectators from towns in and around the Metro East.
“I’m from Highland, Illinois. This is my first time attending the parade. It’s just amazing the fellowship, the town. It’s amazing,” says parade attendee, Alan.
Triad High School might be on summer break, but the pride of the Knights is still on display!
The class of 2025 shares their excitement.
“We’re seniors this year so we get to ride on the float. It’s special to us,” says one Triad football player.
The Marine Illinois Fireman’s parade brought the heat, in the middle of America in the middle of June, and they flame to please!
The 5 On Your Side team hit the parade route with our partners, Scott Credit Union.
“We really love to give back to the community. We like to be involved in the community. We like to be through out the community. So, the more we can do in the community the better,” said Libbi Rogozienski with Scott Credit Union.
