ST. LOUIS — Malik Wilson takes us on a visit to the Central West End for their annual holiday Window Walk. This event is the perfect way to celebrate the time honored holiday tradition of going downtown and seeing beautiful window holiday displays and experiencing the stunning architecture and history of the Central West End. Kate Haher, Executive Director of the Central West End Business Community, spoke with Malik about how she developed this idea of pairing local interior designers with businesses in the CWE 14 years ago. Each designer has their own approach and inventive vision for the window they are decorating. As Kate mentioned, each year it is exciting to see the designer's vision brought to life. This fun-filled event happens every Saturday in December. You can still catch all the fun this Saturday, December 23rd from 1-5 p.m. Enjoy carolers, holiday performers, complimentary carriage rides, ice carvings, smore’s roasting, fresh kettle corn and live music along Euclid between Forest Park Parkway and Washington Ave.
