ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Presidential Primary is tomorrow, Tuesday March 10. Andy Crouppen, of Brown & Crouppen, is here with some things you should know.
To start, Andy says that you want to make sure you are registered to vote. It is best to do this in advance, and not one day before the vote itself, but you can go to the Missouri Secretary of State website and enter your information. That site will let you know if you are registered and where your polling place is.
Do you need to take your I.D. with you to vote? Andy explains that there are a couple of options as far as what you can bring for I.D:
- A Missouri State issued I.D.
- A federal issued I.D. such as a passport
- A student I.D. from a Missouri institution
- If you are a government worker you can bring in your work I.D
- A utility bill with your address
- A government check
If you do not have any of those forms of identification, Andy says you will get a provisional ballot.
It is a full ballot, so Andy reminds people to familiarize themselves with the different candidates and who you want to vote for.
