The Urban League of St. Louis is hosting their annual Back-to-School Expo this weekend -July 19th & 20th for Free School Supplies and More

Get ready for another successful school year as The Urban League provides free backpacks, school supplies, and more at their back-to-school expo this weekend.

ST. LOUIS — Today, Mary Caltrider discussed the Urban League of St. Louis' upcoming community events with their Vice President of Development Tom Bailey Jr. and Regional Vice President of Housing Paula Carey-Moore.

The Urban League of St. Louis invites all to attend their annual Urban Expo Back-to- School & Community Empowerment Festival on July 20th from 10am to 6pm. The event is offering kids free school supplies, haircuts, health screenings, and much more.

The expo is completely free to attend and offers free parking. It will be held at The St. Louis Convention Center: America's Center which is located at 701 Convention Plaza in downtown St. Louis. The RBC Career Hiring Fair will be held at the same location the day before on July 19 from 10am to 5pm. 

On July 20 from 8am to 10:30am, the Unity for Safer Communities Walk will be held to bring the St. Louis community together, and raise funds for initiatives like the Annual Assembly and Kwanzaa programs. Registration for the walk is $30.00 for 18 & over.
