ST. LOUIS — Thursday Nights at the Museum is a weekly series presented by the Missouri History Museum.
Each Thursday evening, exhibits are open late and you can enjoy pop-up activities, a cash bar, food and more!
Tomorrow night, January 18, you can view the documentary I Am Hip Hop: The Women Behind the Music. The film features women DJs and producers talking about their experiences in the industry.
You’ll hear from the local creators of the documentary Aja La’Starr and Jah’cyo as they engage in conversation with St. Louis women who have made their mark on the industry for years. The panelists include DJ Kimmy Nu, DJ Nico, DJ Rico Steez, and DJ She Beatz.
SCHEDULE
5:00–8:00pm | Explore the Museum’s exhibits, including the continuing second-floor hallway installation from the original St. Louis Sound exhibit.
5:00–7:00pm | Enjoy food and drink available for purchase from the Key Bistro.
5:00–6:30pm | Enjoy live DJ music in the Grand Hall.
6:30–8:00pm | Head to the Lee Auditorium to view the documentary I Am Hip Hop and hear a conversation with St. Louis women who have made their mark on the industry for years.
