MISSOURI, USA — The pandemic may have put your vacation on hold this year, but 8 out of 10 families are already planning for 2021. Vrbo’s Melanie Fish is here to explain what those travel trends include.
By compiling data and conducting a global traveler survey, Vrbo has uncovered what families are planning for 2021 and which of the pandemic travel trends are here to stay.
Road trips were huge in 2020, and Melanie says they may still be the preferred way to go in 2021. This gives people the chance to take advantage of whole, private homes near lakes and mountains. Flex-cations, or trips that combine both work and play, will also likely stick around.
Homes are already starting to book up for 2021, so Melanie recommends booking now! Vrbo is reminding families to check the latest health guidelines and travel restrictions before booking any travel. Learn more about what’s new in travel for the year ahead at vrbo.com.
