What $6.3 million buys you in Ladue

Meet the homeowners who made this dream house a reality.

Designed to look like it was built in the 1700's or 1800's, this Ladue mansion on Litzinger Road was actually constructed in 2006. When you walk in through the front doors, and into this 15,000 square foot home, you'll notice it's in a category of its own.

"At first I thought it was French country but as we kept modifying, changing, I realized it's kind of just Ratteree style," said Toni Ratteree.

Homeowners Matt and Toni Ratteree made this dream house a reality.

Matt is the president of a company specializing in industrial energy management and Toni is an actress.

Toni said, "I laugh about this. This is my husband's dream home. My dream home is a cute little love shack. But this extravagant, gorgeous home is his dream. So we went after everything he always wanted."

For example, you'll find a billiards room on the first floor.

"This entire room was measured and made up in Ohio by a gentleman who makes French armoires and made it up there and installed it piece by piece here," she said.

This home is packed with unique features including a two-story dining room.

"My husband, another one of his dreams realized, two-story dining room with a library upstairs," she said.

Toni's dream space is where she spends time cooking.

"If anyone is a cook, my kitchen is the cats meow," Toni said.

The Ratterees have welcomed many people in this home.

"I want to know the names of the people who have not. I have had so many school fundraisers, family events, my husband's company parties," Toni said.

Now the couple is looking to downsize. The home is on the market for $6,350,000 million dollars.

"If i could shrink this, I would stay," she said.

But this home on Litzinger is going to be someone else's dream home.
