ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Two St. Louis area singers will try to make it to the "live" rounds on The Voice Monday.
Tess Boyer and Patrick Thomson will each sing in the playoff rounds and hope to convince Coach Shakira to take them to the Top 12.

Coach Usher picked up Boyer in the blind auditions but lost in the battle rounds. Coach Blake Shelton stole her, and then she was picked up by Coach Shakira after losing her second battle round.
Patrick Thomson faced a similar path. Coach Adam Levine picked him up in the blind audition, but he lost his first battle round, where Shakira stole him. He won his second battle round.
All five contestants will battle Monday night for the chance to claim one of three spots.
