Free and priceless: Kids run the bases at Busch Stadium

Sundays are great deal days to take the kids to a baseball game.

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. — If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience for the kids, you may want to buy a ticket to a Sunday Cardinals game that lets the kids run the bases. Many parents and caregivers may not know about this cool and free thing for the kids!

On select Sundays, the Hi-Chew Kids Run The Bases program lets kids ages 15 and younger run the bases postgame, weather permitting. Kids Club members will get to go to the front of the line.

As a parent, you may find yourself feeling intimidated with the long line. Sometimes it extends all the way from the field level to the top of the stadium, but rest assured, it goes very fast once the line starts moving. And if you're a parent to a little one, know that you may end up running the bases, too!

The next time to run the bases is on Sunday, June 9, against the Colorado Rockies. Not only that, but the first 10,000 kids get a neon Cardinals jersey, and you can also get free frozen treats at Ford Plaza for the Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays.

Sundays are truly one of the best deal days to take the family to the game -- even McDonald's helped the Cardinals kick off summer with $6 tickets.
