He has hosted the ABC oops!-and-oof! clip show for 25 years. And now he's saying it's time to go.

"I'm embracing change this month," she said in a statement to Vulture, noting that his other ABC show, Dancing With the Stars, is also making "plenty of" format and co-host changes.

"I've decided that, after 15 wonderful seasons as host of AFV, next year, the show's 25th anniversary(!!), will be my last," Bergeron said. Next season will be AFV's 25th.

E! reports that there's no drama behind Bergeron's planned exit. It was "just time to put a bow on it and pass the piñata stick to the new host, whoever that person ends up being," he says.

And he also says that he has been talking to producers about a spinoff —- a live version.

Also, Dancing fans need not worry. He's not leaving that show anytime soon. "I'll host that until they drag me out!" he tells E!.
