Perez, 49, is a singer/actress/activist. (The newJoy Behar?) And Wallace, 42, is an author and political commentator who served as communications chief during the George W. Bush presidency. (The newElisabeth Hasselbeck?)
They'll be fighting to get a word in edgewise withRosie O'DonnellandWhoopi Goldberg.
Perez said in a release from ABC that she is "beyond thrilled, honored and completely surprised."
Wallace says it is "both humbling and incredibly exciting."
The new season ofThe Viewbegins on ABC on Sept. 15 at 11 a.m.
