ST. LOUIS — The newest member of the Today in St. Louis family made his big television debut Monday.
Anchor Allie Corey shared a video update for the first time with her newborn son, Kingston.
Allie recorded the update for TISL viewers while cradling her little bundle of joy and celebrating her first Mother's Day on Sunday.
Here's what she shared:
“Hi everybody!
I hope you had a spectacular Mother’s Day. Mine has been unbelievable. Our hearts have been exploding with joy ever since Tuesday, May 7 when this little guy came into the world.
For the very first time on Today in St. Louis I want you to meet Kingston Corey.
And I don’t know if you can see, but his shirt says, ‘Watch my Mommy on Today in St. Louis.’ What do you think about your shirt, bud?
He naps a lot during the day and not so much at night—something we quickly learned on our first night home, but you just can’t get upset with a face like that.
Our world changed forever for the better when he was born on May 7 and these past five days have been unbelievable.
And to make it even better my mom has been in town. She has been so helpful. And our first Mother’s Day spent together. My sisters were also here, and they are both moms as well. So, all four of us got to snuggle in this sweet little bundle of joy, and it’s just been incredible. Honestly, there are no words to describe the feeling that you get when you're holding your sweet little baby.
And I just wanted to say this is the hardest job that I’ve ever had but certainly the most rewarding. So, I have the utmost respect for all the moms out there. It is tough but so worth it.
So, until next time, we just wanted to say hi and check in, and I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. We hope to see you soon!"
Congratulations Allie and Lucas on your beautiful baby boy!
