BLACK JACK, Mo. — Firefighters paid a special visit to a little girl on the anniversary of the day they brought her into the world.
Two years ago, Zara's mother went into labor. She wasn't able to make it to the hospital, so a crew from the Black Jack Fire Protection District helped deliver Zara at home.
On Monday, Zara turned 2 years old. The same crew was on duty and stopped by to wish her a happy birthday in person, from 6 feet away.
"We’re glad that the family is happy and healthy," the department wrote on Facebook. "...Happy Birthday Zara!"
