Cancer survivor raffling off Game 6 tickets to help the fight against cancer

Randalynn Vasel used her own money to buy the tickets, and every penny she raises is going straight to cancer research.

ST. LOUIS — Just about every Blues fan there is would give about anything to go to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.

There is one way to go to the game and help make a difference in the community.

Randalynn Vasel is an ovarian cancer survivor.

She used her own money to buy two tickets to the potentially historic game. Now, she’s raffling off those seats to help raise money in the fight against cancer.

She said it’s important to her to do whatever she can to give back.

“It really hits home that I am going to be the one that more than likely survives this. So I need to use my voice in order to spread awareness and to raise money for research to hopefully not only find a cure for ovarian cancer, but cancer in general.

The tickets are in section 309.

Vasel said all of the money will go straight to cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center.

You can enter the raffle by clicking on her My Pedal the Cause fundraising website here. It’s $100 to enter and you can enter as many times as you want. The winner also will get t-shirts and hats from Arch Apparel.

The entry period ends at noon on Saturday.
