With the help of a local veterinary hospital, a Ferguson police dog is sporting a shiny new smile.
Thanks to Dr. Dan Wentz of the Ferguson Animal Hospital, police k-9 Anak has new titanium implants in place of deteriorating teeth. The old teeth were making it difficult for Anak to eat.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Robert Ulbricht and was paid for with the help of Wentz and a GoFundMe started for the wellness of police dogs in Ferguson. The GoFundMe is still short of its $10,000 goal.
Anak is doing well following his procedure and will be back out on the force soon.
