ST. LOUIS — Meet the first babies born on Leap Day at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
Jai’cee was born at 12:16 a.m. weighing 4 pounds 3 ounces and Noah was born just a couple hours later at 2:35 a.m. weighing 6 pounds and 7 ounces.
The babies were wearing special frog hats and blankets that were donated by The Mightiest Mamas group.
The hospital said all babies born on Leap Day will be getting the hats and blankets and their moms will receive a special goodie bag as well!
"What do we do with an extra day? Celebrate our special Leap Day babies, of course!" the hospital said in a Facebook post.
