ST. LOUIS — A Missouri mom is going viral for her resemblance to Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.
A few days ago, 39-year-old Akeisha Land posted a photo of her and her daughter Greyson on Instagram and the comments just started rolling in…
“Even I had to sit here and say to myself .... ‘ain’t that Meghan?’”
“Wow actually thought it was Megan!!!! 😍”
“Omg I thought you were Meghan Markle for a sec😭, so cute❣️❣️"
Land posted the photo to Greyson’s account, which Land runs and monitors. She said she’s not used to all the attention being on her.
“I'm not used to being in the forefront. I'm used to it being about my kids. It's overwhelming,” she said in an interview with E! News.
Land also said she is flattered by it.
“I take it as a huge compliment. I think she's gorgeous so to be mistaken for a royal is definitely quite a compliment,” she said in the interview.
Land said this isn't the first time she's been told how much they look alike.
In an interview with Daily Mail she said she's been stopped by strangers in grocery stores, movie theaters and church to tell her how similar they look.
