ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Botanical Garden wants to take you on a tropical escape as temperatures are predicted to dip into single digits later this week.
Thursday and Friday, the botanical garden is offering free admission to its Climatron, which stays at a balmy 85 degrees every day.
The Climatron is home to wild-collected orchids and rare and endangered plants, as well as popular tropical plants like banana, coffee and cacao, the plant behind your favorite Valentine’s chocolates.
Visitors must buy tickets online day of using the code CHILLY21 to receive the free admission offer.
There will be a maximum of four tickets per code.

Cloth face coverings that cover the nose and mouth are required for everyone 9 and older per the City of St. Louis and CDC guidelines.
