According to niche.com, Richmond Heights was voted the ninth best place to live in America and the best place to live in Missouri.
The area is described as a great place for young professionals, families and anyone who loves local restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

Other top Missouri cities that made the top 50nationwide list include Clayton and Chesterfield.
The city that took the number one spot is Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania.
Chesterbrook outscored Richmond Heights in housing, diversity, jobs and outdoor activities.

Speaking of Richmond Heights, there’s a competition going on for local businesses in the area.
Edwards Realty Co., the owner and operator of The Boulevard in Richmond Heights, is offering three months of free rent at the mixed-use retail center.
Right now, they are down to seven finalists for its competition.
In addition to free rent, Edwards Realty will give marketing and social media support, as well as $2,000 to decorate the space, to one local company to lease a 1,380-square-foot brick-and-mortar storefront at The Boulevard in Richmond Heights, at Interstate 64 and Brentwood Boulevard.
Edwards Realty received more than 75 applications from area entrepreneurs, officials said. The finalists include everything from retail boutiques to skincare.
