ST. LOUIS — Throughout the month of March, we’ve been saluting men and women who make St. Louis great because of the work they do.
On March 31, the Today in St. Louis crew gave a shoutout to Ben Mazur. He’s a courtesy clerk at the Schnucks in Alton. He’s been working there for about two years.
You might see him bagging your groceries or helping where needed.
But one day while he was out collecting carts, he noticed one rolling away with a baby in it.
“The mother was busy putting her other kids in the car and the people were honking at her to get her attention,” Mazur said. “So, I sprung into action and saved the baby and she was OK.”
Mazur said he likes helping customers and telling them to have a nice day.
Thank you, Ben Mazur, for making our city better!
