ST. LOUIS — People didn't let a little rain keep them from a big birthday celebration on Thursday.
The St. Louis Zoo celebrated Raja the elephant as he turned 26. Raja was the first Asian elephant born at the Zoo and is now the father of three girls.
The Zoo gave him gifts filled with his favorite things, including cereal, peanuts, bananas and popcorn. Visitors sang happy birthday and signed a giant card.
It was an improvement from last year's celebration. Temperatures last year were too cold for the elephants to leave their barn.
Happy birthday Raja!
