ST. LOUIS – Albert Pujols is back in St. Louis to take on the Cardinals this weekend. It’ll be his first time back at Busch Stadium since 2011.
During the Angels game on Thursday – he made a young fan’s night.
A child with Down syndrome was wearing Pujols’ jersey and Pujols noticed him as the team was coming together after the game. Pujols took his jersey off and signed it for the young boy and then took a picture with him.
Sports Illustrated shared the video with this message, ‘When Albert Pujols enters the HOF, people will point to his numbers… But this is it. This is everything.’
Pujols is a class act and it seems most St. Louisans are excited for him to be back in the Lou Friday night, even though he’s on a different team.
