ST. LOUIS — Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, but if you want to get pies and cakes from some of the best bakeries in St. Louis, the deadline to get your order in is approaching.
Whether you are looking for pumpkin and pecan pies or a high-quality loaf of bread, these businesses have you covered.

Here are a few of the bakeries offering the perfect pie.
If you are looking for a place to get your entire Thanksgiving menu taken care of at once, Eckert's Country Store in Belleville, Illinois, has you covered.
For $125, you can get turkey, sides and a pumpkin pie. The listing says it feeds eight to 10 people but does not come with cranberry sauce or gravy.
All orders must be picked up Nov. 17-22 from the country store location at 951 South Green Mount Road.
If you are looking to start a new family tradition, Helfers Pastries & Deli in Florissant might be the perfect place for you.
After the original owners decided to retire, their youngest daughter, Jamie, took the reigns. This Thanksgiving, you can find a wide variety of holiday pies and treats, including some sugar-free options.
Orders must be picked up by Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving. They will be open from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on those days.
Orders will have to be submitted in person or over the phone by close of business on Monday, Nov. 20.

Knead describes itself as a midwestern Sourdough Bakehouse in the heart of South St. Louis. Its10-year-old sourdough is used throughout their menu, including their holiday pies and other desserts.
In addition to Dutch apple pies, pecan pies and pumpkin pies, you can order various sourdough breads and buns.
Knead will be closed on Thanksgiving, but you can get your orders in now for pickup at the following times:
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18
- 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Nov. 19
- 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21
- 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22

La Patisserie Chouquette specializes in French pastry and is renowned for its macarons, but there is so much more on the menu for Thanksgiving.
You can find all the classics, but if you want to branch out, you can find a black and blueberry pie with brown sugar and fresh lemon. It also has a bit of a nod to Christmas. The top of the pie looks like Jack Skellington from the Tim Burton movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Are you indecisive? Made. by Lia has the perfect pie for you. Their Frankenpie has three different holiday flavors to treat your tastebuds. You can also get a full version of any of their Thanksgiving pie.

Whether you are looking for breakfast or dessert, McArthur's Bakery has you covered. You can get cakes, pies, danishes, stollens, quiche and more.
McArthur's is offering bundles so you can add one item to your cart and have everything taken care of.
If you want to get a little taste of multiple pies, Pint Size has the perfect item for you. Its Lil Pie sampler pack features mini versions of four holiday classics; Lil Punkin, Lil Missouri Pecan, Lil Local Apple Crumble & Lil Walnut-Chocolate-Bourbon.
You can also get full-sized versions of all of those pies, and a few others. If you need that perfect topping for your slice of pumpkin pie, Pint Size is also selling pints of its freshly whipped vanilla bean cream.
Orders must be placed by Nov. 16. Pickup for Thanksgiving orders is available 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 22.

From pumpkin pie to pumpkin cake and everything in between, Russell's has the perfect Thanksgiving treat.
If you want to celebrate a very St. Louis Thanksgiving, give the pumpkin walnut gooey butter cake a try.

Since 1996, Sugaree has been pumping out delicious treats just south of Forest Park. If you want to get a piece of that history, you'll need to get your order in by Nov. 13.
The orders will be available for pickup on Nov. 17, 18, 19 and 22.
