Meteorologist Mike Roberts joined KSDK News Channel 5 in 1996. Prior to that he worked at KSHB-TV in Kansas City, KMOV-TV here in St. Louis and WOWT-TV in Omaha.
Mike won Emmys for Best Weathercast-Weathercaster in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and earned the American Metrological Society's Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal of Approval in 2008.
In addition to his responsibilities at KSDK, he is an adjunct instructor at St. Louis University in the department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
Mike graduated from Creighton University with a B.S. degree majoring in Atmospheric Sciences in 1989. He also has a B.A.A. in Broadcast Journalism in 1980.
