Nichole Berlie anchors "Today in St. Louis" every weekday morning from 4 a.m. until 7 a.m.
Nichole was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was in the Honor's Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she earned a bachelor's degree in broadcasting - with minors in mathematics, Spanish and English. She also earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism from the Newhouse School of Journalism at Syracuse University in New York.
Prior to joining the Today in St. Louis team, Nichole spent 5 years as a morning anchor at KETV-7 in Omaha, Nebraska. She also spent time as a reporter in both Omaha and Evansville, Indiana.
Nichole attributes much of her early-morning energy and cheerfulness to a small amount of "crazy" and large amounts of caffeine. In addition to caffeine, she loves reading, working out, watching football, talk radio, cats, and spending time with friends and family – not necessarily in that order.
