OWENSVILLE, Mo. (KSDK) – NewsChannel 5 meteorologists Cindy Preszler and Bree Smith have officially made it!
Viewer Phyllis Barringer sent us a note on Facebook about her two new heifer calves. They're named Breezy and Cindy – after two great members of our First Alert Weather Team!
Barringer lives near Owensville. She says her family names their cattle according to specific themes. Breezy and Cindy's mom is named Frosty – keeping up with the weather theme.
"We thought it would be nice to honor the Channel 5 Weather Ladies…sorry guys!" she wrote.
Hopefully Scott Connell, Chester Lampkin and Mike Roberts will get their own farm animal namesakes someday.
